An Open Letter to Sam Pepper

lacigreen:

Hi Sam!

Thanks for taking the time to read this letter. As fellow YouTubers, we have much respect for others who put so much hard work into building their channel. It’s not easy, and you should be proud! That said, we’ve noticed that in your success, there has been a lack of respect in…

Yup.

Maybe a purple streak is the magic ingredient to become wildly YouTube famous!

Just working on a new collaboration. Bear with me.

So proud of my little sister for making this video.   Despite it being edited so hilariously, it’s a personality disorder that not many people know about but has obviously had a massive negative impact on her life.

I think it’s really important more people educate themselves about it.

Why don't you put forth more effort to connect with your fans and followers like Matthew Santoro does? He's busy too, yet he still finds at least a couple of hours a day to respond to people.

While I do want to improve on this personally, it’s pretty sucky to imply there is an obligation for someone with an audience to have an arbitrary quota they need to fill when it comes to replying to their audience.

Some of my friends have psychological issues that prevent them from doing so, and some just don’t want to get involved in that side of things and prefer working on new stuff for said audience.

If you pressure those kinds of people, it could likely discourage them from working as hard. At least that’s what I’ve found!

I like how you can speak really fast and never stutter.

I like how I can edit out the hundreds of times I stutter when recording vlogs.

Just accidentally sat on my hair and pulled it. Simultaneous feeling of frustration and victory.

Very unusual.

YES.    YES.
